WE ARE STILL OPEN and WE ARE STILL DELIVERING. However, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, CB Pet Food & Supplies has enacted temporary changes to its day to day operation. Those changes will be listed here and may changed without notice. All these measures are temporary and we look forward to returning to business as usual in the near future. Above all else, please take care.

RETAIL LOCATION TEMPORARY MEASURES

Social Distancing

In the interest of social distancing, CB Pet Food & Supplies will no longer allow customers to enter its store. WE ARE STILL OPEN and we are still selling everything we have in stock. By reducing the number of people who enter our store, we reduce the number of people who come in contact with the products.

Shopping at Our Retail Location

When you arrive at our retail location, please knock on our door and one of our staff members will be happy to take your order and retrieve the products. Once you have paid for the products, we will place them outside the door for you.

Think of us as CB Take Out Pet Food & Supplies!

Call Ahead Pick-up

If you'd like to place an order for pick up, please call us at 519-893-3743 and we will prepare your order for you ahead of time. You may also choose to pay over the phone with a Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard). When you arrive at our store, inform us that you are picking up and, after payment is confirmed, we will place the products outside the door for you.

Methods of Payment

As part of our social distancing measures, we have changed our accepted methods of payment. Payment must be done by:

  • TAP enabled Debit Card
  • TAP enabled Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard)
  • Apple Pay enabled device (phone, watch, etc.)
  • Credit Card over the phone / force entered

NOTE: Most Credit Cards have TAP functionality built in even if you are unaware of it. Additionally, TAP enabled cards generally feature this symbol:

Unfortunately, our Debit terminal cannot reach outside the store nor will we physically handle your card so we cannot process your card using swipe or chip insertion at this time.

WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING CASH.

Reduction in Staff and Hours

Unfortunately, we have temporarily laid off our part-time staff. We wanted to protect our employees by reducing their contact with other people. This will also reduce the number of people who come in contact with you and the products we sell.

Thankfully, our part-time employees have other, full-time jobs that will carry them through. We know you miss them (and they miss you).

Because of this reduction in staff and the changes to operation, we have also reduced our hours of operation. We are open the following days and hours:

Limited Carry-Outs

We now offer limited carry-outs. Once you've purchased your products, back your car up to the store and open your trunk. Get back in your car and wait. We'll come out and load the products into your trunk then return inside. You can then exit your car to close the trunk.

In the interest of social distancing, if there are numerous customers at the door, we may wait until after they have left before we place your products in your trunk.

Alternatively, consider having us deliver the products to you.

Suspension of Returns

We are not accepting returns at this time. However, our Pet Food Guarantee and return policy is still in affect. If you purchased a product that you would like to return, please hold onto (1) the item and (2) the receipt or record the date of purchase.

Returns will resume at a currently unspecified future date.

We ask that you make sure the item you are purchasing is correct. If you do not know what product you normally buy, such as your pet's food, consider photographing the product with your mobile phone to confirm that it is correct when purchased.

We Are Still Delivering

We continue to offer delivery for all products. Please call us to schedule a delivery: 519-893-3743

FREE Delivery on Food and Litter Orders

To ensure all our customers still have access to food and litter, all orders that include food or litter will receive FREE delivery within Kitchener, Waterloo and Breslau.

FREE Delivery on Purchases Over $25 (before tax)

All purchases over $25 (before tax) continue to receive FREE delivery within Kitchener, Waterloo and Breslau.

Expanded Delivery Days

We now deliver every weekday, Monday through Friday during store hours (see above).

However, we can no longer guarantee delivery at a requested time, though we will try our best. We will call ahead of the delivery to inform you that we are on the way.

Social Distancing

Delivery to Houses
We will drop the product at your door or another requested location OUTSIDE the building. We will not enter your home nor interact with you directly. Once the item has been delivered, it will be your responsibility to bring it inside. We will call ahead to inform you that your delivery in on route so you are made aware of the delivery drop. If no response is received, we will still make the delivery. We are not responsible for lost or stolen deliveries.

Delivery to Apartments
We will drop the product at your apartment building's front door or another requested location OUTSIDE the building. We will not enter the apartment building, including the foyer, nor will we interact with you directly. We will not buzz your apartment. We will call ahead to ensure you are home and ask that you wait for us at the front door. If no response is received to our call, no delivery will be made and we will contact you to reschedule.

Delivery Payment

For deliveries scheduled over the phone, we can only accept accept Visa or MasterCard for payment.

If you would like to pay with a TAP / Apple Pay enabled card or device, you can come to our retail location to pay in person.

OUR STOCK AND SUPPLY

There continues to be no interruptions from our suppliers and we are still receiving food and other products almost daily. Additionally, we continue to take custom orders for food and other products.
